my friend, andrea has a clothing company called Son Of John.  she lives in brooklyn but had a few la meetings last weekend. she stayed with us for a night and brought gifts!!! these pants are one of the many. thank you!!! i think everyone can agree that nostalgia really plays a huge part in fashion.

i used to rock boxers under my girbaud denim with the waistband peeking out. currently, i am loving the pairing of "weekend pants" with blazers or button ups. these are an edgier version of that look.  the subtle dropped crotch detail is so helmut lang haremesque. remember?  i see these pants in my immediate autumn future with a sheer blouse, A Wang creepers and a leather.

We went to FYF on saturday.  It was easy peazy.  A very laid back fest.  it was a smaller, urban version of the first Coachella. I loved that it was in our neighborhood. We drove a mile and parked, then walked a few blocks to the venue in the park.  I wore layers in anticipation of the inevitable cool La nighttime weather.
