last friday lf had their huge sale. after my bebe shoot i rushed over and worked that sale out! the lf on larchmont is by far my favorite in la. the staff is beyond sweet and those girls are all stylish and gorgeous. it was a pre sale exclusive event so we were all carded at the door. it was a bit of a madhouse. 60% off plus an extra 10 with invite, come on! at first it was every woman for herself, but then at near closing we became besties in our bras and panties trying on maxi dresses, wedges, shawls, off the shoulder sweaters, crop sweaters, skirts...i almost passed on this sweater but my two new friends convinced me otherwise. i usually prefer this style in a loose knit cotton or thick itchy wool but i don't mind the uniformity of this one. i wore it with levis cutoffs and combat boots in santa monica at night without feeling a chill.

i just got this kimono in the mail and i love the feel of it. the quality definitely surpassed my expectations. they have about 10 other key pieces that i could really use this spring and summer. don't be surprised if American Gold infiltrates this blog!

i woke up this morning freezing cold!!  thank goodness the sun stopped by for afternoon tea.
sam and i went to pick up tailoring and decided to have udon for breakfast. my nails were ravaged from the Bebe production design  job i worked on yesterday. the shots look amazing!!! the model was flawless and the art direction was right on. look for the spring mailer in a few weeks. i pulled some seriously industrial and raw pieces. lots of chunky metal drums, stools, tables, chairs...you know things that cause nails to chip and break. so, i treated myself to a mani. i always ask friends to pick a color. yesterday my friend jo-el told me to go green. what do you think?
 later on, nate came over to take some shots. we spent all afternoon chasing the sun.
